Coupe de l'UEFA : des raisons d’y croire (ou pas)

Bon ok la coupe de l'UEFA ne passionne plus grand monde. Raillée partout et par tous pour son manque d'intérêt sportif et financier, la « Coupe d'Europe du pauvre » n'excite plus les gros bras européens. Trop occupés à chasser le strapontin pour la lucrative et exigeante Ligue des champions dans leur championnat national, la plupart des clubs y envoient leurs jeunes pousses ou leur bout de banc en manque de temps de jeu.

Mais voilà, quand on regarde le palmarès famélique des Français en Coupe d'Europe (2 titres glanés en plus de 50 ans), on se dit qu'une petite Coupe de l'UEFA fut-elle dévaluée ne serait pas de trop. Alors qu'elle a déjà embrassé le destin de nombreux clubs exotiques, la bougresse se refuse toujours aux représentants du football gaulois. Comme il faut bien que cela cesse, comme on est supporter et avant tout français monsieur, voici une petite série de raisons de croire en les chances de nos quatre survivants dans la compétition, de vaincre enfin le signe indien.

Surtout, un an après une pitoyable élimination contre une équipe en carton d'Anderlecht dans la même compétition, on va bien voir sir les gars de Laurent Blanc en ont...de l'ambition !

Alors si en plus ils arrivent à réveiller Ben Arfa (vous aviez oublié qu'il jouait à Marseille ?) et que celui-ci n'en colle pas une à un de ses coéquipier avant le match, cette année pourrait être la bonne !
