Par ailleurs, l’attaquant de Schalke 04 Kevin Kuranyi, de retour de blessure, n’a pas été retenu. La liste laisse une belle part aux jeunes, mais Klinsmann a tout de même rappelé un vétéran, Jens Nowotny, 32 ans, pour encadrer ses gamins.
